Nowadays, ISYTEC is called: ATB.

A former colleague at ISYTEC and still a good friend of mine Stefan Richter, made an inadvertent contribution to my PhD. Thesis.
In sheer frustration over some API documentation he exclaimed when I told him I was going to call the manufacturer:

"... tell them that information hiding has nothing to do with manuals!"

( "... sag' ihn mal, daß Information Hiding nichts mit Handbüchern zu tun hat").

I thought that given the state of a lot of documentation, this complaint was really on the spot and decided to make it one of my theses.

Stefan has founded his own software company: freiheit.com since then.
